I am passionate about the field of admission and have been since I took my first job as an admission counselor over 20 years ago. First and foremost, I have a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, social justice, and educational access. I am talented at developing and maintaining relationships. I have strong interpersonal skills and I am able to connect with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. I have also built and maintained strong relationships with educational consultants, alumni, and other important constituencies throughout my career. Through my last two positions international admissions and recruitment have become areas of expertise and I have developed and led recruitment strategies for each of my schools based on data-driven research and personal connections and experience in the global market. I have traveled extensively and feel increasingly connected to the world and the diverse students and families I serve. I have a deep passion for all-girls education and global awareness. Having worked in four schools for girls, I find these experiences to be the most meaningful of my career and remain deeply committed to promoting and supporting the education of young women. I also have varied experiences in both non-denominational and parochial schools, traditional educational programs, programs for students with learning differences, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
I am a collaborative, enthusiastic, and energetic leader who thrives on building community and promoting mission and vision for my school. I have a strong work ethic with the desire and ability to inspire others.
